Innotec was founded in 1998 by Jörg Leichenich, who gained extensive experience and knowledge in the processing of thermoplastics at POLYPENCO. His dream of starting his own company became a reality when he co-founded Innotec with Harald Spranz. Initially, the company focused on milling thermoplastics, but soon expanded its activities to include other technologies and markets.
In its early years, Innotec grew steadily, attracting new customers and building long-lasting partnerships. In 2005, the first Matsuura machine was installed, marking an important step towards automated machining and further growth. Despite the challenges posed by the global financial crisis in 2009, Innotec quickly recovered, thanks to a well-balanced customer base.
By 2014, Innotec had achieved a turnover of nearly 10 million euros, and in 2017, the company saw tremendous economic success. The workforce grew to 70 employees, and turnover continued to rise. During this period, Innotec became a family business, with Jörg's children, Maren and Björn, joining the company in 2013 and 2015, respectively.
In 2018, Innotec acquired Hägele Erodiertechnik GmbH, a key acquisition that allowed the company to add EDM technology to its offerings. This marked another important step in Innotec's development, as it continued to expand into new markets and technologies.
In 2024, the Leichenich family decided to join forces with Andra Tech Group, creating new growth opportunities for the future. Today, Innotec is a leading player in the precision components industry, with a strong focus on technology, innovation, and customer-focused solutions.
